At 81 years old, Louise Gilbert from Moncton, NB, is affectionately known as a Silver Warrior by those who appreciate her dedication to the community. She volunteers at the hospital, makes quilts for patients, and leads an active lifestyle through chair yoga, walking at the track, and skating. Louise also serves as the front desk manager at the Dieppe Arts and Culture Centre and was the Chair of the Mayor’s Seniors Advisory Committee for over 10 years.
When someone mentions they are retiring, Louise responds with, “What are you retiring to?” Her question reflects her belief in staying active and engaged in all aspects of life.
